There are some venues that feel like they were designed for florals, and Spring Creek Golf & Country Club in Ripon is absolutely one of them. Nestled on acres of perfectly manicured grounds and shaded by grand oak trees, this venue offers the kind of natural elegance that allows floral design to truly shine.
When Jared and Stephanie first reached out, they knew they wanted something romantic, sophisticated, and rich with texture. The color palette they were drawn to- soft peach, warm coral, buttery yellows, and layers of lush greenery- felt like an extension of the venue itself. It was garden-inspired without feeling overly sweet, intentional without being stiff.

For their church ceremony, we created tall, garden-style arrangements that flanked the altar — full of movement and dimension, with trailing greenery and pops of coral and peach blooms nestled throughout. The goal was to frame the couple without overpowering the space. What I loved most was that they had an organic, collected quality that felt intentional but effortless.

Inside the clubhouse, the reception design was all about creating a garden feel within the space. The focal point of the reception was a long wood feasting table draped with a soft fabric runner, adorned in a mixture of tall, dramatic foliage-filled centerpieces and low compotes of garden roses, lisianthus, and greenery. For the round tables, we designed low, lush centerpieces with a mix of garden roses, ranunculus, and textural greenery. And tall tapered candles in glass hurricanes added height and warmth without blocking sightlines.

I had so much fun designing the cake table as its own little moment. We created a low floral meadow that wrapped around the base of the cake was the perfect look, featuring clusters of blooms in peach, coral, and cream tucked into trailing greenery. It felt less like a traditional cake display and more like the cake had been set into a garden, and was perfectly romantic.

And I can’t forget to mention the seating chart! Instead of a simple sign, we transformed it into a full installation. A large frame was surrounded by ferns, Italian ruscus, and layers of texture with blooms cascading down from the top and pooling at the base. It wasn’t just functional; it was a design feature in its own right. We loved hearing that guests were even taking photos in front of it- the sign of a detail done well.

Jared and Stephanie’s palette was the epitome of garden florals without feeling overly sweet or trendy. The combination of soft peach, warm coral, buttery yellow, and blush was grounded by deep greens and touches of muted sage. Every arrangement had depth, and it felt romantic, while still being refined.
This Central California venue offers so much potential! If you’re considering Spring Creek Country Club for your wedding and want florals that feel custom, layered, and intentional, I’d love to talk.
