ABOUT US
about us
I grew up in a small farming town in Northern California, where the rhythm of the seasons shaped my eye for beauty and balance. My introduction to weddings began early through floral design and bridal styling, where I developed an appreciation for how personal details, fashion, and florals work together to tell a cohesive story.
I studied business in college and spent years working across the wedding industry, learning how exceptional events are built—from concept through execution. Everything clicked when I joined a floral design studio, where florals became the anchor that tied planning, design, and styling into a single, intentional vision.
I founded my studio as Dry Creek Blossoms and evolved it into Erica Gravel Design in 2024—reflecting a more refined, all-in-house approach to wedding planning and floral design.
Today, Erica Gravel Design creates elevated, cohesive celebrations defined by thoughtful logistics, strong creative direction, and a deeply considered aesthetic.
Zac is the operational backbone of Erica Gravel Design, bringing a disciplined blend of organization, problem solving, and hands on expertise. Raised in the Bay Area with deep roots in agriculture, his background—particularly in winegrape farming—shapes his methodical, grounded approach to our work.
As an equal partner in the studio, Zac oversees logistics and execution for our large-scale floral installations, ensuring every structure is engineered with precision and installed seamlessly. His ability to anticipate challenges, troubleshoot in real time, and deliver calm, effective solutions is central to how our designs come to life.
